INCAP Limited ( ICL ) has set up a unit for manufacture of Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors ( AECs ) of different sizes.

Project

The company has established a project for the manufacturing of AECs of various grades and sizes with installed capacity of 110 million pieces per annum at a cost of Rs.12 crores.The project has been setup at ' Nidamanur near Vijayawada, in the state Andhra Pradesh, INDIA'. The company has entered into a memorandum of understanding ( MOU ) with LEC, Taiwan for the supply of know-how including training the technical staff, to participate in the equity and to buy back 25 % of the company's production. The collaborators are one of the leading manufacturers and exporters of AECs with an installed capacity of 720 million capacitors per annum. The collaborators export nearly 85 % of their production to USA, Europe,Singapore,Malaysia and Honkong. Besides they are engaged in the manufacture of equipment for production of capacitors through their associate company.

The machinery installed being latest, fully automatic developed versions can meet the stringent specifications and requirements of professional grade applications also. The product has already been introduced in the market which has been well received. Our capacitors have been approved by Department of   Telecommunication, Electronics Test and Development Centers in India.

R & D  Activity

R & D activity is mainly carried out in INCAP to develop the quality of the product. This R&D department will check the feasibility of using the alternative foils and electrolyte, which is most essential to develop the quality of the product.
